after a tough weekend, our Tigers come back home and attempt to get back to winning ball games.

6:30pm tonight at The Box

TV tonight for those of you who catch Cox Sports

as usual, radio will also broadcast the game (audio and video available in Geaux Zone)

weather:

79° with mostly clear skies. 11mph winds heading out toward Left Center.

pitchers:

LSU - So. RHP Joe Broussard (4-0, 4.15 ERA, 26.0 IP, 7 BB, 26 SO)

SLU - Sr. RHP Josh Janway (2-2, 2.95 ERA, 36.2 IP, 16 BB, 18 SO)

Whew what a day at work! Tigers on the telly .... check. Crawfish etouffee for dinner..... check. Good botte of vineaux .... check. OK, I'm ready then! Go tigers :smiley-happy088:

strike out swinging after a few foul balls on a 2-2 count (about 12 pitches total)

fly out to fields in cf

walk on four pitches, one on with two outs

broussard is awfully distracted by the guy on first. not throwing to the plate, but holding the runner. for-ev-er

base hit to shallow right. drops between katz and jones. miscommunication and neither made the play. grrrr.... runners at the corners with two outs

strike out, but wild pitch, run scores . 1-0 slu

rhymes grounds out to 3b. bad call by, who else, ray gregson. was across the bag when ball got there. one gone

nola fly out to lf. two gone

moore base hit to right field. one on with two out.

hanover base hit to right center. the bad call just cost us a run not having rhymes on. two on with two out.

jones base hit to rf. (just broke an 0-12 slump), one on one out

call to the pen, pitching change for slu. tanner rainey in to pitch. right hander, 1-0, 9.45 era.

katz with a commercially sponsored walk. bases loaded, one out.

rhymes sac fly, jones scores, tie game, two outs. and i jinxed rr. :(

I love crooked numbers! Jones with a base hit is a good thing. Hopefully he can get some confidence. I was talking with a friend this weekend about baseball, and how confidence is such a huge factor in the game. That goes for the team as well as individuals.

Pitching change for LSU---Bonvillian in, Broussard out. Runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs for SLU. Jones had a pop up fall in short right field...good hustle, couldn't make the basket catch.

sac bunt, 5-3, but hanover fumbled the ball and almost didnt get it thrown in time. runners advance. two on one out.
