We get the best available player in Anthony Davis and we can get a player that can provide instant depth and possibly become a starter. We also have the 46th pick and I saw that Justin Hamilton worked out for them the other day. Obviously, he wouldn't be a starter, but he has room to improve his game to become a decent off the bench big body.. With that said, I doubt the Hornets draft him.

Here is the Hornets draft history. Keep in mind they moved to New Orleans in 2001, but if they would have never made a trades, but still had the same picks they did every year, we would be going into tonight's draft with the #1 overall pick with a roster that includes Kobe Bryant, David West & Chris Paul..LOL.

We are really in a good position right now. Obviously we have the top overall pick plus another 1st round pick and the 46th pick. The Hornets might have attempted to throw this out to other teams alright, but I would not mind seeing the 46th pick included into a trade package to acquire a veteran player.
I think we go after Rivers because he will be available, but we could also go after one of Davis's teammates, specifically Terrance Jones. That is someone that could be an instant impact and he and Davis already has established chemistry. Honestly, this is the most excited I have been for an NBA draft in years, if not ever.

Solid draft last night.
1. Anthony Davis
10. Austin Rivers
46. Darius Miller
I like the Miller pick since he and Davis were team mates late years, they have some chemistry coming into NO. And Monte Williams has been familiar with Rivers since he was a kid. This is the most excited I have ever been for the opening of the NBA season.

This is cool. You can compare many of the draft picks with Shaq, Kobe, & Rose.
